Does anyone have
any cupboards or old kitchen units not being used
that could be put in the village hall for storage? The cupboards are
needed to fit into an area 2 and a half metres long and a maximum of
2m high. A group of families are hoping to set up a parent toddler
group in the village hall, but have no-where to store toys or
equipment. If you have anything you think may be suitable, please

Glasses The Exeter - Ethiopia link with Devon Africa charity have got funding for an eye clinic in Nakampte in Western Ethiopia. As 80% of blindness is preventable with early treatment and the provision of spectacles, we are asking for any old unwanted spectacles, frames, spectacle cases, magnifying glasses or sunglasses you may have lying around. looking for a very reliable person to help clean our holiday bungalow at Welcombe
during the 2010 season. You must be available on Friday mornings for approx.

Surf Academy
for local 8-16 year olds. Turning your nippers into rippers!
Develop water confidence & sea safety awareness whilst learning/improving your surfing skills in a safe and fun learning environment with highly qualified instructors
Junior Surf Academy has shut for the winter, opening again April/May. Parents welcome to contact us over the winter with enquiries. It runs April-May to end October. We ended the season with a beach clean-up at Summerleaze and an Awards Ceremony at the Edgcumbe Hotel.
Please call the office 01288 331764 to discuss your child’s requirements. Boards & suits may be hired in Bude prior to attending the lessons. Complete beginners will need to attend one standard surf school lesson.
